Why book through MidAmerica Speakers Bureau?

There are several reasons. First, we know our presenter’s talents and strong suits, because unlike other bureaus, we have seen a large percentage of them speaking or performing in-person! Secondly, we are considered one of the most “timely” bureaus in America. We take great pride in getting back to our meeting professionals, and presenters, as quickly as possible. We know you have enough on your plate planning the event, and our commitment is to remove some of that stress by finding and securing a presenter who will wow your audience and make YOU look good in the process. In other words, leave the leg work to us! Is MidAmerica Speakers Bureau affordable?

We represent speakers with a wide range of fees, from $1,000 to over $25,000. It helps a great deal in narrowing down our search if we know your budget range. That way we can go directly to the presenters in your range and begin our search, saving you, and us, valuable time. If you’re unsure, no problem, we’ll work through it with you. And please remember, our service is free to you. With us, you pay the presenter directly the day she or he speaks/performs, and there is no additional fee for MSB. Our speakers pay us, not you!

What type of speakers are available?

Our presenters include leaders, motivators, authors, consultants, coaches, trainers, educators, humorists, business owners, comedians and various entertainers from across the country. No matter the occasion, you’re sure to find the perfect presenter when booking with us. Standing ovations are commonplace, and remember, we’ve seen most of them in-person so we know exactly what you’re getting!

What if I don't know which speaker to choose?

We’ll make it easy for you to find the perfect one. Once you’ve told us a little about your event, your budget, your audience and the message you wish to convey, we will match you to a presenter who will best meet your needs. You can be confident our recommendation will be right on.

How Far in Advance Should I Book a Speaker?

Although there is no hard and fast rule, the sooner the better is always a good idea. Speaker’s schedules fill up, and it’s a bit maddening if you have a speaker chosen and you give us a call and they are already booked on that date. In fact, if you are planning an event and you want a certain speaker to be a big part of it, and it doesn’t have to be on a certain date, let us check the date with the speaker. If he or she isn’t available, and if you have the flexibility, you may want to consider moving the date to a time when the speaker is available.

What if a speaker can't make it?

As we all know, life happens. Although we can’t guarantee we can get a replacement (travel, weather, time restraints, etc.), we will do everything we can to find you a suitable replacement. Knock on wood, since we began the bureau in 2010 it has only happened a handful of times and we’ve been able to secure a replacement each time. What we’re saying is we’ll work diligently to ensure you will have a speaker or performer on stage at your event.
